Housing

Housing is available only a few steps away from the Music Building in the University of Montana dorms.  This year, MSI will be using the second floor Duniway Hall.  (Please note: there is no elevator in Duniway.) 

Check-in for our standard housing package begins on Sunday and check-out is on Saturday. This six-night housing package is appropriate for most families. The cost of University housing for our standard package is:

• $210.00/person for double rooms ($420.00/week for two people)
• $270.00 for single rooms

Additional room nights will be necessary for those enrolled in Book 1 Teacher Training, and may be necessary for others depending on your travel schedule. The cost for additional room nights is:

• $35.00/person each night for double rooms ($70.00/night for two people)
• $45.00 each night for single rooms

UM Housing Policies

• No student under the age of 18 may stay in a dorm without adult supervision.
• If a single room is requested but more than one person stays in it, an extra fee will be assessed by the University during the Institute.
• No more than 2 people per Double Room in accordance with Missoula fire regulations.
• No changes can be made to reservations after June 17. Reservations will be cancelled if not paid on or before June 17. Payment is required by this date and is not refundable by the University.
